KK served his articles with what was then a big-8 accounting firm and qualified as a Certified Public Accountant, Malaysia in 1981. He is also a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
While with this previous firm, he worked on the audits of various private, public-listed and multinational companies engaged in various industries. During 1983 - 1984, he was seconded to the firm’s office in New Haven, CT, USA where he was exposed to the US public accounting and business environment.
KK left this previous firm as Audit Manager in 1986 to join a public listed company as Head of Internal Audit reporting directly to the Audit Committee of the Board.
He returned to the profession in 1989 when he joined Moores Rowland. Since 1991, KK has been a partner of the firm with extensive experience in assurance, business advisory and forensic/investigation work. He is also a licensed insolvency practitioner.
